Gooseberry Smoothie

1 C gooseberries
1 C strawberries
1 C blueberries, frozen
1 C banana, frozen
1/2 C grapes
2 C almond milk
2 scoops Chai Vega One
1/2 Tbsp Vietnamese Cinnamon
1 Lemon, juiced
2 Tbsp blackberry honey
ice

Pear, Coconut and Greens Smoothie

While it can be very difficult to convince our children to consume vegetation, this is a winner.

2 scoops Vega One French Vanilla
2 Pears
2 Bananas, frozen
1 400 ml can of coconut milk
1/2 C almond milk or yogurt
2 Cups of mixed greens, stems removed (I used beet leaves, swiss chard, and lettuce)
Ice

We drank these outside on a delightfully warm fall evening and felt very refreshed.

Apple Saucy Smoothie Recipe

2 Pears, stems removed
1 C frozen banana
2 scoops Vanilla Chai Vega One
2 C almond milk
2 C apple sauce
2 Tbsp Cinnamon
1/4 C Walnuts
1 C frozen swiss chard
3 C ice (or until desired thickness)

Blueberry Rooibos Smoothie Recipe

4 C Almond Milk
2 C Blueberries
2 Scoops Vega One Vanilla
1/4 C Cashews
2 Tbsp Flaxseed, ground
1 Tbsp Rooibos, ground
2 Tbsp Raw Honey
4 C Ice

Chocolate Chickpea Smoothie Recipe

3 scoops Vega One Chocolate
1 - 400 ml can of chickpeas
1 - 400 ml can of coconut milk (or 1 2/3 C almond milk)
1/2 C hazelnuts
1/4 C almond butter (or peanut butter)
2 C chopped frozen bananas
1/8 C honey or xylitol
1/4 tsp liquid stevia
1 tsp vanilla
4 C ice
1/4 C cacao nibs
1/4 C cacao paste
1/2 tsp fresh ground Anise (optional)
1 Tbsp fresh ground coffee beans (optional)

Makes 2L (enough to feed a family of four plus a bonus glass to save for later)
We serve the kids before adding the coffee beans.
